Hey fellaz, think I have enough courage to do this upgrade but do not have the luxury of having a local place where I can get the LED's. Can someone help guide me on how to purchase the correct LED's off eBay, might be easier online. Radio Shack does not ship to Canada. Thanks in advance!!

it works, but you will need to add resistors for this. It'll blow out if you do not have resistors.

nigxdoof: the oem ones are dome, but the ones I have modded with from Radio Shack are not.

So is it to say that the superflux ones from the link above, or Piranha ones would need resistors?

If you compare. the max current on the Radioshack ones are 4.0v.

The ebay ones are 3.2-3.4v max. Best add resistors to the ebay ones.

Well we can always ship the ones we get from Radio Shack. I had 12 extra white ones and I gave them to John (brabusw209amg) and he shipped it to a member in Europe. I forgot who though.

Way easier if I can get the ones from Radio Shack but since there is none around my way, Im out of luck . I dont want to complicate it by adding resistors, already complicated enough. Is anybody willing to go to Radio Shack and ship to me here in Toronto area......pls!!!
