hi all,

does anyone figured out how can we monitor the engine temperature when the car is running?

You have to access the hidden menu before starting your car. Then when you start the car, the menu will stay open. Coolant temps can be seen in folder 7.

Someone needs to come up with a (wireless) sender that can be:
  • easily mounted on the engine or
  • plugged into the car's data port and
  • then an app for the iPhone and DROID for retrieving various data
from the engine

I have done it and viewed the results, 1st they are in Celsius can that be fixed and i have to hold the button down and do that every time i want to view the engine coolant temp?

I found a very fast way to get to diagnostic mode. press the odometer BEFORE you insert the key on the side. Push the key in and you enter the diagnostic mode immediately.
