Hi guys im looking to fit a egr bypass on my e60 530d mine is. 2003 wandering if it would bring up any error codes once the new bypass is connected i have read on some forums that a EML would show up. As mine is one of the first e60s would this be the same or has some one got away with out any errors

Does the error cause any problem if the bypass is left on the car
or isit jus a error that will jus keep showing

Can this be changed by dis ncs or any of those programs

You will get the "pump" warning light on the dashboard all the time, I was well surprise myself and of course the DDE will jump to a safe mode....

I just take the bypass back....., it is better this way and do a proper cleaning once a year.

That is really interested, I have use some coin only between the recirculation pipe and EGR valve and it came with fault 2 minutes after I have started my car.

I have also seen somewhere just using bolt to close only the hose for the valve, looks like I need to try again.
