I would like to add an aux-in, either in addition to, or replacement for, the iPod interface in my glove box. What's the best way?

Not the easiest way but probably the cheapest http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=51895

It's a pretty easy job to do if you're confident in a) removing your trim pieces and b) playing with multiway plugs.

However, having done this mod, I wouldn't recommend it - the audio only comes from the front speakers, with nothing from the rear ones, hence the tone is rubbish.

If you can accept that, then it's OK, but I can see why it's designed for a phone interface!

I have been looking at the NavAndTV2Go unit, but I'm worried that the OEM screen isn't high enough quality. Have you ever seen it in action?
