HI Everyone,
I just wanted to share some pics of my pwm trunk install. For anyone in the soCal area, my friend Erik @ Rathmann Auto Works helped me out with this, as well as custom exhaust, full oil system rebuild including turbos rebuilt, almond-blasting the intake valves... (also swapped out suspension, lower control arm bushings, and lifted the right rear corner which was still sagging after all new springs/shocks). My car has 92k miles on it, but now feels like brand new again!
But the point of THIS thread is trunk mount meth kit.
The brackets for the pump and tank are custom built out of aluminum sheet metal, attached to frame. I picked up auto fabric from Keyston Bros, who Erik recommended for auto fabric. I'm planning on putting a little velcro on the access flap. meth and power lines are ran through a conduit which is routed next to the fuel line, under the car, to take advantage of the BMW designed safety mechanisms around separation of fuel & passenger.
Big thanks to Erik for all of his help and custom work... I can't recommend him highly enough!
