Driver Interior Recess Handle Install Help

Is there any info or any past DIY on a 08' e60 recess handle install that anyone knows of? Any help would be great! I have the replacement ready to put in but havent found anything on a install. With the process of taking off the interior panel I wanted to check before I get in over my head dealing with side airbags etc. Does the piece snap out etc. Thanks for any help.

My Ride: Bmw 530d 2004
You need to remove the door panel. These instructions are for pre-LCI, but removing the door panel is the same in the LCI model.
