DIY Throttle body service
Anyone seen this on they're 2.5l or 3.0 ?
I got to the point where I just needed to take off the upper clamp and lower clamp... and low and behold the clamp heads are facing down towards firewall. I tried 1/4 inch drive with swivel, stubby nut and screwdriver etc... Will I need to go from underneath the car? I will do a write up once this gets solved

If you can get one there is a screw driver with a flexible steel wire shaft...that can bend and allow to unscrew them....
Like the one in the link
Have you tried an elbow joint type socket on an extension it may make it easier? Is that what you meant by swivel?

Good luck, let us know how to get on
by the way are you following a guide or you going to post a DIY? lol
UPDATE
Ok that was fun lol.
The process is a tedious one, first you need to get a set of rhino ramps or equivalant (lift would be ideal but what fun would that be) and get the car some what off the ground but not to high, then proceed to remove both under car plastic shields and their 400 screws lol feels like it. Once those are outta the way grab yourself a 6mm wrench and 2 flat head screwdrivers one stubby and one as long and medium size you can find. Take your trusty tools and slide yourself back underneath towards driver side just past the aluminum brace and you'll see the 2 clamps you'll need to loosen. see pic 1. Take your time and be careful not to drop any tools to your right on the lovely starter solenoid(big red thick wire). Also your going to have to feed your arm through a dust shield to the left of the steering shaft so that you can put your arm around the steering shaft, use your right arm as the guide and feed hand. Once you've loosened and got the clamps ready. Go top side and take your airbox out and undo the MAF plug and clamp, then unplug idle control plug (its just above the top clamp on the throttle body), then unplug the airline that goes into the MAF( just press and unplug) once thats outta the way twist and pull a few times and voila (see pic 2). I used carb cleaner and lint free towels on all induction parts, maf sensor and ducting. Once cleaned just reverse whole process.
