One hell of a smart and handy guy! I like your DYI very much. Very intuitive and easy for us to follow!
Another Kudos!

Hi to all
Sorry for digging out veeery old thread but I have a very irritating problem with the same spoiler.
Its a genuine bmw spoiler. I bought it with a 3m vhb tape.
Installed it about two months ago.
Was fine till two weeks ago. I spotted that two ends are lifting off.
It was right after a car wash.
So I decided to remove and buy some diferent tape than. Tried few but every time next day the same problem.
Decided to try in BMW and found one.
I went throu Your great instruction.
Cleaned everything with Solvent based cleaner. Remoed wax etc.
Weather was great so installed my spoiler and left it for 24h over night and very sunny day with loads of electric tape holding it in place.
Removed a tape after that and drive. Two days later in a sunny day I see lifting ends...
Help please...

Dean, if it's never gonna come off, then glue it, lol.
And you guys sure you used the better kind of 3M tape? There are several different kind, and the strength is considerably different.
