DIY: ECU Removal

My Ride: Carbon Black 545i

Here is a DIY for the ECU removal
1. Box located on passenger side.
2. Locate the sensor and remove
3. Remove the rubber cushion lining.
4. Remove center lock mount.
5. Unlock using a 13mm socket , then remove plastic panel.
6. It should look like this. Then unlock 2 more bolts to remove cover.
7. You can use a torque wrench, but a flat head will work too (I think its alil faster), and unscrew each bolt.
8. After you remove all the screws and lift up the panel. The ECU will be located at the very top.

545, 550= 20 hp, 25 tq gain
