NoQuarter, for the spreadsheet, the following worked on my 2004/1 E60 with CCC and no HD Radio. CCC has newer version navigation software. Traffic info, map icons and "TI" status notification, dynamic routing seems to work. Dynamic routing option stays on when selected.
Module: CAPPL
From: BMW RTTI FAQ
How much does RTTI cost?
There is no activation fee or recurring monthly charges. The cost to provide RTTI is included in the BMW Navigation system price. The RTTI service will be provided for a minimum of 4 years from the purchase or lease of your BMW. After the four year term, the service will continue to be provided at no additional charge as long as BMW continues its contractual relationship with its current RTTI service provider.

I'm going to do some testing on mine this weekend. I have RTTI but my values have TMC not active. I will change it to active and see if I have anything new.
I'll put some notes in the spreadsheet too.

I was able to active traffic just by setting TP and all TP related values as active. When I tried to set TMC active, the coding would fail. Nevertheless, I do see traffic on my iDrive now.
No Dynamic route resetting issue for me.

NoQuarter, would a trunk mount of the HD radio module be easier if you wanted to replace the SAT. I have SAT but don't use it so it would be cool to have something I would use. Could you reuse the power and fiber connections and then the only issue would be the antenna and of course coding? I'm guessing the antenna is in the rear window. Would be nice if there was a connection back there except maybe there is an amplifier somewhere else. I have a 2008 535i with nav.

You could put the HD module in the trunk in place of the SAT module, the power and fiber connections would be very easy. The antenna connection would be a problem to solve of course.

NoQuarter,
I have a 2008 528i with Pro Nav and I've just followed this guide to retrofit IBOC. This is my first time installing NCS Expert and coding. I've been reading guides online but still confused.
Just want to make sure these are steps I need to code
- Add S653 to VO
- Change IBOC to active in CAPPL module (only this ECU or more elsewhere?)
I found these IBOC lines, which one needs to be active?

Thanks a lot for any help!

I'm not to the programming part yet. I'm curious though, get it working?
I just bought most of the parts. I still haven't figured out where to source the antenna cables (found the splitter on Turner). Any suggestions?
