I want to DeBadge my 530d as i prefer cars with that cleaner look. My question is what is the best way to remove the letters without damaging the paint work?
Anyone done this?

Fishing line or dental floss to "saw" off the badge + some goo/glue removal stuff to clean off any remains from the tape.

As mentioned this topic has been discussed numerous times.
And you've already got your answer.

I used dental floss myself, (nice minty smell too!
) to remove my letters last week, (oh yeah, I must post pix), and it worked beautifully!
Afterward I just removed the excess adhesive from the old lettering with lighter fluid, and it was as easy as that!
