I have a 2005 545I. I keep getting a code for coolant temperature lower then thermostat temperature. How can I fix this?

Thanks.

Maybe it needs to replace the thermostat or water pump.

Ok, then how do I narrow it down to the t-stat or the water pump? Anyone have instructions on how to do either or both?

Thanks.
