Is there only one filter to replace? For some reason I thought there were two microfilters, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Many Thanks

He is talking about the Charcoal air filter behind the air filter for the engine...
There are 2 micro filters for cabin air filtration on both sides near the windshield

Is there any difference between the two filters? And where did you get the new filter (black one)? thanks. I just debating on K&N but dont want the error message coming on all the time.

Suthurnbimmur-
I just installed my K&N Filter this weekend, I can definately feel the difference.
Get one, it's totally worth it.

You shouldn't see any error messages.

I think there are three different filters.
K&N, RPI and F1 (BMW performance)

Someone can correct me if I am wrong
