I have replaced my mask on my car as the old one volume button was broken ad wasnt reading any cds wouldnt even pick up on the idrive


When i fitted the new one it said it needs coding i used ncs to send a blank man file which made it work after i tried different cd een genuine music cds it says the above error every time cd changer can play a normal audio cd but the mask says track or file could not be read i have coded it agin with man file and have coded mp3 in the mask file

The headunit is from a 2005 mycar is a 2003

Any idea guys if anything else needs coding

i also have this ever so often .i just eject the cd and re insert and it plays the mp3

Only ever happens if i start the car with a mp3 cd in the player

Is this the value you used +kmp3

I havnt done that my cd player doesnt play any cd now just says the above error

I think need to change the vin for the mask
