[/quote]When I wrote the above smart a$$ reply, I fully intended to provide the instructions igor was asking for. I've become pretty adept at finding things in TIS but for the life of me, I can't find instructions on removing the handle. I can find instructions on removing the entire lever which entails way more than needed (and still doesn't get the handle off.)
I think there are others who have changed this handle to wood, etc. Maybe a search will uncover something. Maybe the thing just pulls off?

As I said, I can get you instructions (complex) that removes the entire lever. It involves special tools and disconnecting the e-brake cable, etc. Once you install the new lever, the e-brake has to be adjusted, etc.
Since I didn't think you wanted to get that involved, I didn't post that. Then again, maybe the entire lever is what you need to replace when switching to wood, etc.? Someone must know...
