Hi, I have fitted a CCC Nav and the 8.8" LCD into my E60 2008, it had just the CD player before.
Now all works well except there is no sound.
I added $609 to the VO.

From what i can see on the display in the car(surround sound with LOGIC7 on the display) it seem that the car the CCC came from had LOGIC7 and mine does not.
How do i tell the CCC to use its internal AMP not the LOGIC7.
Do i need to program the VIN of the car into the CCC, if so how?

Sorry for all the questions but i have been searching for answers for over a week now.

Many thanks in advance.....

taking a wild guess here, but is there something in the trace file that you have to change from nicht_activ > activ? or the other way around?

In the trc file, you need to change audio from top hifi, to hifi. Easiest way would be to code the CCC (cappl) with a blank fsw-psw.trc.

Just noticed your in the UK so standard would be another audio option over there. Code the cappl with a blank file as stated and you should be set.

Thanks for the response but i don't have the CAPPL in the module list.
When i add $609 to the VO, i get CIC in the module list, but is this not for cars newer than mine?
if i add v$606 then i get MASK but im sure mine in the pro SATNAV which i think should be $609????
Also when i try to read the CIC i get the error

ERROR! Modul: CDH.C, Proc: CDHCheckIdent, LineNr: 03, ErrorNr: 2041
COAPI-2041: wrong ecu coding index
A_CIC: CODIERINDEX = 07h
CIC.C09: CODIERINDEX = 09

You didn't change your date code in the vo by chance?

Whats the build month of your E60 because the CIC was introduced to the E60 not long after 2008, could be yours is a 2009 model which is why NCS is saying you should have a CIC for $609.
One way around it would be to add $6VB this will make the CCC show in NCS or temporarily change your build date to some thing before 2008.

You need to change your VO back to the way it was and simply code a blank .MAN file to the car. I would not be changing the VO at this point unless you already had option for CIC on the VO in this case follow the post above mine.

OK the build date is 09/08 and adding $6VB did indeed bring up the CCC but still no sound, the LOGIC7 stuff has gone now which is a step closer i think,
I coded
- CAPPL
- CAUDA
- CGATE
- CHOST
- CTUNE

but still no audio.
Do i have to change the VIN in the Radio?
Do i have to wait for a specific amount of time before it works (16min)?
Do i have to pull the negative terminal off the battery for a while?

Many thanks for your help.
