Brake light at top of rear window

Hello,

I've got a rattle that seems to be in the brake light strip area at the top center of the rear window. Is there some special tool needed to open the hatch to access it or can I just hook my fingernails in at the edge and give it a tug?

Did you have any luck opening this hatch? I am having a similar problem at the moment but my light has fallen off!!
