Hi all,
I've recently bleed the brake fluid however the handbrake now doesn't hold the car as it did before. I could nudge the car with my knees with the handbrakes up. I bleed the brakes with the handbrakes up.
Cheers,
Tony

As far as I know, they're independent, the handbrake is mechanical via a cable for the rear axle. You can adjust the tension by releasing the hand brake, taking the rear wheels off (you can do one at a time) and with a screwdriver line up the lug-hole at 6 o'clock and turn the adjuster screw up or down, can't remember exactly. You can do a search on this forum or on the web and you'll get an idea of the process.

Here's a thread related to adjusting the hand brake. I guess you can actually do it with the wheels on the car, but the wheel must be off the ground because you'll need to turn the wheel by hand to test the tension of the parking brake pads.
