My Ride: Carbon black 545i sport
I know this is an old chestnut, but I retrofitted this the other day and moved the wires over from the originally supplied plug to the pins in the CCC plug as per the install guide - although I did notice they didn't move to the same pins they came out of on the original plug, but I followed the guide.
Having done this, I was expecting to have lost bass in my sounds (I have Logic 7) as per everybody elses experience prior to recoding, but it sounds the same, so my question is, is it always the case that the bass is lost if the wiring of the Aux socket is correct?
If so, I guess it isn't wired up properly.........
Cheers
Alan

You have to move the pins from the harness that comes with the aux input in to the existing harness. You need all wires connected properly.

Just a quick update. Got the car recoded today (well yesterday AND today). The aux input works perfectly!
So it seems that it's not always the case that the bass is lost when things are connected properly before recoding.
cheers
