Hi guys,
I am a new owner to the E60.
If i like to install an after market system, is it possible to still have it displayed on the i-drive?
Now I have a Clarion headunit, changer, woofer, speakers from a diff car that I want to use......

There is no headunit in the BMW to replace. You have to fit the headunit in the little cubby hole assuming you dont have nav. THen youd have to tap into the mask computer for speaker hook ups. Very complicated job.

I'd recommend just changing the speakers and adding the amp and sub ....its messy adding a head unit...also not compatible with your i-Drive

Hello! My car is a 530d and I want to install a sub JBL W12 GTi, front speakers JBL C608 GTI and Audison VRX 4.300 amp. ?Where I can find a pre-out in the OEM system? I have Business Navigation System
