I'll be doing my valve cover gaskets soon, and i'd be willing to take pictures and explain everything needed to do the job. Is anyone interested?

Your DIY would be greatly appreciated!! I've recently noticed some oil leaking from the covers of my 04/545. I thought... it's a valve cover how hard could it be, but when my independent shop said they would
need $1k to do the job, I started to rethink things a bit. I've done some research and it would seem the job is not as straight forward as one would hope for. While I can turn a wrench I'm certainly no "pro",
but I miss the day when you wouldn't think twice about doing basic maintenance like the valve cover gaskets, alternator and for gods sake... the battery (on which no one can seem to agree) initialization.
