Hi.
Before anyone jumps on me, I have a V1 and a 9500i but neither will work in my e60 as I have "Option 356 - Climate Comfort Laminated Glass". As a result, the radar screen gets blocked and the only space unscreened makes the radar point skywards. So I have bought the latest remote installed 9500ic system.

My question is .. has any one installed one and can pass on his or her's learnings? Where did you place the control module and the display module inside the car to remain stealth to the cops and robbers?
Appreciate any feedback before I start my project.
Cheers

I don't have the 9500ci, but I do have the Escort SRX. I have the control module in front of the instrument cluster, with the radar module behind the front bumper and the laser jammers below the headlights. Works like a charm - I'm amazed how sensitive the radar is. I picked up a LEO around a corner a couple of days ago.
Check out this thread for pics (and an example of why I should do more research before posting answers of how laser jammers work ): http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=54563

The dash screen and controller are a lot smaller in real life which was a pleasant surprise. Just looking at stealth locations for them still.
