M5 not over 110? No waaaaaaay, not that beautiful thing?
Not too many places to stretch its legs out Besides, it's winter and breaking 120 with Blizzaks is a bit disconcerting....

xexyus: I can't stop staring at your sig for some reason

Mine holds fine and it uses that 3m tape stuff. No problems. And yes I occasionally go 125mph
Your sig is the best thing since sliced bread! MEOW!

Hey - What double sided tape did you guys use? Home Depot had Heavy Duty and Super Heavy Duty. I went with the Super.

That girl could use some super heavy duty double sided tape to keep those things in place. LOL!

I'll be glad to give you a hand if I'm free although I'm no expert seeing as my body shop did mine for me. They said they used only the double sided tape. Solid as a rock. Haven't gone faster than 110 or so, but I don't think it's going anywhere
Ed - You really want to drive back here to help me with this? Sweeeeet! Come over ASAP! Afterwards, we'll go test drive your car again. I forgot what it's like.

Yes those boobies are loads of fun I must say

In regards to the tape, my spoiler had it already on it so all I did was peal and stick. It holds real well. I have to admit though, I bent my trunk spoiler by laying it on a small cardboard box over time and when I installed the trunk spoiler there is a small air gap. This only happened a week or so later and thats just cause I obviously bent it, not because of the tape. If I put some BS silicon or something it will hold it down but as of now it looks and holds fine.

I too was doubtful like yourself regarding tape but I wouldnt worry about it

I just PM'ed you with some questions before I mount. I'm a bit nervous, as it doesn't appear that the spoiler with the tape will touch every single inch of the glass when I mount it. I'd have to press down really hard on the spoiler to get it to touch. Did you have to do this too? PM me back when you get a chance.

Thanks!

So I did some test mounts before peeling the tape that's mounted to the roof spolier and it appears that I'll have to push really hard on each side to get the tape to touch the glass. I'm debating what to do here...

I've used this polyurethane seal, suggested by a car glass specialist, it's super fast and powerful. It worked perfectly. Ready to go in 30 min.

Primer for both sides, primer applicator, and seal tube.

Is it easy to clean off if you ever decide to take off the spoiler?

Very easy to remove spoiler with seal cutting thread, then razor (for remaining seal and primer on glass) and clean off with thinner.
