Why do you need some ones name and phone number?, you have 2 posts, sorry but I don`t think any one sane would give you that kind of information.

Name and number is just in case its easier to explain a repair over the phone. Obviously you're not obligated to provide a name and number, but I wouldn't read too much into that one. Its more or less to help you out. I don't think it matters if I only have 2 posts. I'm giving away free information from my Alldata subscription. Are you complaining? Do you need a repair as proof to my honesty?

The procedure for "Checking Camshaft Timing" can be found under Camshaft, Engine See: Camshaft\Testing and Inspection

The following is taken from "Adjusting camshaft timing on right side (N62 / N62TU)"
See: Camshaft\Adjustments\Adjusting Camshaft Timing on Left Side
See: Camshaft\Adjustments\Adjusting Camshaft Timing on Right Side

Place special tool 11 9 461 on inlet camshaft and align inlet camshaft so that special tool 11 9 461 rests without a gap on cylinder head.
Fit special tool 11 9 463 See: Tools and Equipment\11 9 460 Gauge, secure screw (1) in thread for oil line and tighten down by hand.

Give Roscoe a chance to help with Alldata info. He was nice enough to send me some schematics to help me in an attempt to retrofit a Homelink mirror to my 2011 F10.
