Are you getting the error for both lights, meaning that the Vertical Aim is not working for both lights? Did you have the AHL Unit?

The Pin Outs are not in uniform with the Diagram. The Wiring Diagram is more accurate. If you have an LM2, You have to use Pin 25 and Pin 11 for the Parking Lights/Angel Eyes.
Earlier LM's Power the Pin 40 and Pin 25 for the Parking Lights.

Have error message on rear height sensor ever since I did this mod have tried to change the sensor and to calibrated without fixing the problem. no break in the 3 wires until LM2 suspects a configuration error, is there anyone else here who has encounter same problem?

Make sure the pins are properly pressed in on the LM. As they tend to not make a connection sometimes

No worries im glad you sorted it. I couldnt get hold of the BMW TIS online as it is not free anymore. I tried to look at the PIN numbers.

Hello all. I have the same problem as my friend had above. except ista doesn't see AHL anymore and I only have one error 9CC6. changed the date to # 0305 and re-coded CAS and LM but still the same. What is this Alive signal? . And at the beginning I got involved in the AHL installation to see if it works at all. because in the manual I could not guess what is going on with the desoldering of the connector to the plug. Please help ..

Hi there,

Can you please list the steps on what you did, or what you are trying to achieve?

Are you trying to retrofit xenon headlights or adaptive headlights? What was the stock setup of the car you are working on?
