I did it on my. I upgraded my US std sound system with new amp, speakers and subs underseat.
Total part is about $1200. Labor is free - I did it myself.

Here is my wiring scheme

Because I don't want to mess up with OEM look, I did not add new head unit. I thought about it a lot, but I passed.
You can add another DIN headunit below the current CD player if you don't have Nav. There's exactly one slot that fit one DIN head unit.

Welcome to E60.net forum!

CD changer can only be installed to make it work by dealer. Coding is a must unless you want to install the hardware and let dealer take care of the software. Tell us what you'd like to do exactly.

Hey guys,

Just a thought as i dont quite know what i have.

Is there anyway to locate the subs under the seat without actually removing the seat?

Like pushing it all the way front or all the way back and looking for something or feeling for it maybe?

Thanks a bunch

You must remove all 4 big anchor screws to tilt the seat against the back seat.
Where are you located? Europe, I guess.
