I want to see if I can feed a SAT antenna (aftermarket) through it to mound on the roof.

Okay, now I understand. Later this evening I'll try to post info on dropping the headliner which might give you the access you're looking for. Be advised that I don't think it's an easy DIY and may not be worth trying yourself -- you may be better off mounting it to the trunklid...

Inside car top of rear window is plastic cover what comes out qiute easily and there You can acces to fin.

I've taken off the small headliner piece above the center brake light and it exposes the 3 connected antennas.
I want to see if I can pass the cable, but I need to know if I can remove the fin from the outside.

is the regular radio aerial in the fin , if not i guess mine is empty.
