Cut off the pins and add around 6 inch of red and brown cable to each, fit the snap in receptacles to the new cables and snap in the red to pin 1 of the 2 pin connector and the brown to pin 2.

11 -------to 15
12 -------to 16
13 -------to 18
14 -------to 19
15 -------to 20

2/ connector X13765 (power and ground):

from X18793 to X13765
10 -------to 1 (red)
18 -------to 2 (brown)
(we need to add 6 inch of red and brown cable to each)

3/ connector X01130 (12pin black) :
nothing change in this connrector, it's stay as original

4/ solar sensor : (we add/connect 4 cable from the X1527 to the solar sensor)

from X1527 (blue 26pin) to Sensor
10 -------to 1
13 -------to 2
11 -------to 3
12 -------to 4

not used at all from X18793 :
2 not used
5 not used

BLood, this is for the pré-LCI model, if i do it for the LCI model, i have to change :

pin 21 of the blue plug and cut the wire leaving enough on both ends, take the wire sticking out of the loom and run a cable from it to the ground (brown) wire in the two pin plug then add a length of cable to the wire attached to pin 21 and fix that to the power wire (red) on the two pin plug.

correct ?

where are you getting the wiring plugs/connectors from ? direct from bmw ? and do they have them in stock or do you have to order them first .

also what about the condensation sensor ? as there doesnt seem to be anywhere to mount it behind the screen in the mirror housing.

one thing i have noticed is that the lci with high ihka doesnt have a solar sensor mounted on the dash board ,confirmed this on my brothers 2008 model .

Are you sure about that? I have an LCI IHKA in my E60 and it has the solar sensor functions just the same, PICS pls. The condensation sensor has a sticky pad on it.

Pin 21 (Airco Compressor) from the Blue connector should indeed be cut and routed to the 2 pins connector for the power for LCI AC Panels.
