Default 2006 E60 Coolant Hose Connector Dripping

I had to change out the coolant hose that goes from connecting with two bolts on the front top of the motor to the thermostat.

Here is the hose. Only pic I could find online.

Here is the hose installed.

I must be missing something but if the bolts are both on top how does the bottom part of the hose make a seal and not leak. Both bolts are tight and I have a slow drip when the engine is running. Just makes no sense to me how that hose seals up???

Need help Please!

Make sure the oring is not cut when you install it back. Use sylglide from Napa (sylicone grease) to slide the oring in.

More than likely you have a cut oring.
