I have a 2005 BMW 525i E60 ,the radio sound cuts on &

off when car temperature is higher than 29 degrees also the Idrive display goes off and comes back on . This has been getting worse as the weather gets hotter. The battery is checked and is fine , the CD player is working fine. Can any one give a suggestion as to where I can locate the problem? Does anyone have a diagram or know of a youtube segment that will help me locate and fix this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have two drives on the dash and navigation? If so the fan on the back of the CCC (head unit) may be the culprit.

There might be a bad ground wire.

could also be the amplifier that is mounted in the trunk....left side behind carpet panel. not sure though if you'd have an amp if you have a standard stereo though.
