Hi all. My dealer tells me my A/C compressor is about to die and I want to be prepared with a replacement when it does. Does anyone have a link to a DIY guide? I've been searching with no luck. The car is a 2004 E60 520i. Engine is M54B22. Thanks.

A/C systems can be tricky. Do you have a way to evacuate and charge the A/C system? Replacing the Compressor is not that difficult, Having the correct equipment to recharge the system is.
