2003 530D E60 Panaromic Sunroof Problem

2003 530D E60 Panaromic Sunroof Problem
Hi Guys,
I noticed that when the sunroof is on the "vent" position I hear a rattling like a loose bottle inside the roof whilst driving it is driving me insane, when I hit under the roof lining below the swich it dissapears for awhile.
This morning I retracted the sliding roof fully and examined the plastic wind deflector which pops up when retraction takes place, while I was examining this I somehow disloged it from it's seating and now cannot get it back into position. It has 2 spring loaded fittings and although I got them into the allotted slots it will not function as it did before I "cleverly" unseated it
Anyone out there can help please, will appreciate?
