Its a dark poplar wood, pretty standard for premium pack. Just an unusual cut I guess?
The wood is nicely accented by that leather color, Auburn is really one of the best interior colors BMW ever came up with. Except for Chateau :-)

looks awesome...good job. what did you use to touch up the paint?

btw: have you considered putting spacers in the rear, it really changes the look of the car.
