Nice, Calton! Can't wash my own car b/c of where I live. Will have to swing by your place when the weather warms up and we can make a day of it. Detail one car, drink some beer, detail the other car, drink some more beer (okay, beer drinking will be ongoing during the detailing )

Looks great cman! CS really makes it shine like glass.

I haven't used AIO yet ... did you put it down by hand or machine? As a polish, did it remove minor swirls?

Wait until you get rain or when you wash it again - the water beads up like mercury and runs right off the panels. I just washed mine the other day after 3 nasty weeks of snow and salt and road grime, and it looks just as great as when I first put it on.

Thank you Sal Zaino.

I did everything by hand, but could definitely see getting an orbital to do the work. AIO removed swirls, minor oxidation and grime and grease on the body. It's a cleaner, polish and protectant in one. I was really surprised how well it worked. Match that with Z-CS and Z8 and the car just looks amazing. I might try Z5 Pro, but for now, I'm pretty happy with the results.

Thanks again for recommending it. I need to shoot Sal some pictures of my car.

The car looks beautiful. How much time did it take you to complete all three step?

Great job cmansbimmer I'm a rejex man too but guess i'm gonna buy some zaino now .. Your car looks great one question... is the Meguiars NXT gen soap better than Meguiars Gold Class?

Not too sure. The thing I like about NXT is that it's very, very sudsy and is really smooth and easy on the paint. You can almost feel how careful it is as you wash your mitts over the car. It also loosens and emulsifies the toughest, dirtiest spots on the car. It's also a synthetic wash, so it's pH balanced to not strip the wax off your car. I would try it. I got a big jug (64 oz) for under $8. If you like Gold Class better, stay with it.

Here's the one thing to all though...what I really should have done is used Dawn for my first wash. This would have stripped away all the old Rejex and any other crap on the car from my previous details jobs. After that, I then should have laid down the NXT wash. But it still looks awesome.
