Wow--beautiful. There's nothing like a freshly washed black car--I just don't have the patience!!

The wheels are beautiful--what are they?

Yeah, that is hardcore sweet. It's unreal how many people knock the 5-series styling. Compared to bores like the new E-series, M45, etc. it's a beauty. I can't wait to setup some shots like this when I get my wheels and spoiler on.

My Ride: 2008 M5 -- Exterior: Silverstone, Interior: Black. Fully Loaded. That just about sums it up! :-)

Wow. Love the pix!
I would definitely order Black for an exterior color if someone promised me that it would *always* look that way!

After a good wash, BLACK is the clear choice in exterior colors IMHO.

Looks like you also have an X5. Is this what you use on the "rainy days"?

Cheers,
Tony

I agree. Since buying my first E60 back in early '04, I've had people consistently come up and compliment how cool the car looks. The MB and M45 don't have that type of appeal.

I think the amount of people that have styling issues with the E60 is probably exaggerated by the internet. The E60 is the first new 5 series style that has come along since the internet became such a major part of everyday life, and the 5er is a lightening rod because it is the segment benchmark. If this were 1995 I doubt we'd hear nearly as much about it.

For the last 10+ years my cars have all been black. I finally went with White for a change. Although I don't miss the upkeep and haven't regretted my decision, you've got one freakin' nice looking ride!

Wheels look great. Have you had any problem with the ride (vibration, shacking, etc.)? Personally I have had bad luck with after market wheels. But those look to good not to try again.
