So, what *is* the best windscreen cleaner?

My Ride:
Buy a new or used car from a dealer and the inside of the windscreen is crystal clear.
Clean the screen yourself and get streaks and smears.
I have tried:
Newspaper
Vinegar
Iso-Propul alcolhol
Nail varnish remover
Windolene
Nilfisk
Mr. Sheen
and a wheel-barrow full of other stuff all with the same bad result.
So, guys, what's yor secret...?

My Ride: '05 545i, silver gray, black leather with anthracite maple wood, sport package, premium sound, navigation, cold weather package, electric rear sunshade, folding rear seat, satellite radio prep, PIAA 4150K fogs, red rear reflectors, hardwired Valentine One
Griot's Garage has the best window cleaner I've used. It gets the windows squeaky clean. It comes in liquid form, but I use the wipes, so you don't get any overspray on the dash, etc.:

Meguiars NXT glass cleaner & Stoner's Invisible glass are good. Aerosol regulations prohibit shipping for Stoner's to the UK though, unless you can get it locally.

i used windex or lens cleaner from some optical shops. also bought a large size cleaning cloth from them. used a glass wizard for hard to reach areas.

I have tried many different cleaning prducts but the biggest break through came when I recently found some microfibre cloths designed specifically for glass. They have a much tighter weave and they work incredibly well.

Once again Stream hits the nail on the head!! The only thing I can add is I recently added Griot's Garage microfiber windsheild towels to "buff" galss after cleaning wipes and lint free towels. Really get them clean and s-t-r-e-a-k free.
