Default Simoniz GlassCoat

Anyone here ever have this done to their car? It's a dealer option that supposedly seals the paint and provides a coating that's guaranteed 7 years. They protect the carpet, seats and floor mats too. They are trying to sell it to me for my wife's new Nissan Pathfinder.

sounds like any other sealant product. C quartz or opticoat are other options that might be better for you and most likely more cost effective. Just need to find a detailer local to you that can do a proper application. I'd go the private detailer route rather than dealer IMO.
