Hello Guys,

Well after getting my car lowered and having my 10 year high school reunion in a few weeks... I wanted a good detail. Anyone know of a great detailer in the San Diego area? I would go with Fminus, but I don't really have the time to drive up to his area. TIA!

Try the carwash on Mission Gorge by Chili's near the 8 freeway. They're good.

One new place to avoid is Sorrento Valley Auto Spa on Mira Mesa Blvd. After work, I went home and spent over an hour with a quick detailing spray. There were hard water spots on the paint. They SUCK.

I'd help you out personally while I am on vacation in Palm Springs, but I think I'll be leaving my gear at home, maybe stopping at a few 5er friends' places on the way there, but no serious work will be done. We'll see.

Anyways, go here...

Avoid local shops, contact these guys first.
I know these guys well, you'll find the help you're lookin for.

Send pics, because if I'm in the area I would gladly help you out man. If I know what's up I might be able to bring a few things to solve that issue.

Thanks for the replies guys. My paint is in pretty good condition for an 04.

My only major issue is water spots in some areas. Its driving me CRAZY! I hope they can be buffed out or whatever needs to be done. Im not too familar with detailing work.

I know of no places in San Diego. I do see a lot of mobile detailers that goes to office parks. They look like a viable alternative. As for me, I usually go to Star Car Wash on Gower St in Hollywood when I visit the boss (which is like always).

I've used Perks Detailing a couple of times. He does a really good job and will work with you on any issues you have with your paint. He really wants to make you happy with his work.
