removing wheel weight glue/paper

Hello,

I just had my tires rebalanced. what is a safe way to remove wheel weight glue/paper from nice wheels? ps, wheels are installed ( )

Get any plastic item with a relatively pointed (not really sharp or you will scratch or remove clear coat) end and scrape it off. Also helps to hit it with wheel cleaner and let it dry out first.

Soften the adhesive with some googone or WD-40. Best if you saturate a folded up paper towel and lay it on the exact spot for a few minutes to allow it to soak in and soften the glue before scraping off with a piece of plastic (old credit cards are perfect for the task).

3M adhesive cleaner and a microfiber takes it right off along with all the brake dust!
