My Ride: Mine: 2006 530i, titanium silver, grey leather, poplar grain wood trim, SMG, Premium, Cold Weather, Sport packages, fold down rear seats with ski bag, park distance control, rear side airbags. ED: ordered 3/29/05, picked up 6/3/05 (well, not quite - long story), redelivered 8/6/05.
Wife: 2005 X3 2.5, water blue, light beige leather, birch grain light wood trim, steptronic, panoramic roof, Cold Weather, Sport packages, fold down rear seats with ski bag, cruise control, fog lights, rear side airbags, heated seats. ED: ordered 3/29/05, picked up 6/3/05 (well, not quite - long story), redelivered 8/6/05.
Help!
My new ride (picked it up Aug. 6) has two new pine tree sap drops from my a-hole neighor's tree. Any easy way to remove these? One is on the hood, the other on the sunroof glass. I used to use gasoline on my old car, but I am sure this is now not an option.
Thanks.

Go to your local Home Depot or hardware type store and buy a product called 'Goop'. Removes anything under the sun. In my experience it doesn't fade paint (like gasoline!), but I always rinse with soap & water afterwards just in case. It too will strip wax so you may wanna touch that up, too.

Auto parts stores carry tar & bug remover. Or use 3M adhesive remover. Either way, will need to rewax area.
