I recently used the Flex XC3401VRG with a CCS 6.5 inch Orange Light Cutting Foam Pad & Menzerna 106FF. That was the best combo that worked in removing the light swirls and scrathes on my car, but it left a haze that I didn't notice until the next morning. Needless to say I had to go back over it with the 106FF & a CCS 6.5 inch Gray Finishing Foam Pad to remove the haze
My question to the experts: Is there another way around this process to cut down the steps without having to go back over it with a Grey pad to remove the haze? Could I have gotten away with using a Green pad & 106FF just one time?
Thanks in advance

nope not really in any polishing step its best to finish off with a finishing pad like blue or black this is the best way to prevent haze.
i know of some people that can finish off with white or orange but to make sure you don't get any hazing its best to finish off with a finishing pad.

Just wanna add:
Make sure you use lower speed (About 4 passes) to refine the polish after the high cutting speed, as Flex 3401 are much stronger than other DA polishers from what i've heard (similar to rotary), so this might be the reason why you got some marring/haze left behind.
had used CCS green pad with 106ff on BMW paint before but no hazing or whatever, but i would say try the least abrasive pad first as i said above
