I put a bit of NXT on a small area of the interior wood trims (passenger side) and it really good.

I'm wondering if there's any harm using exterior wax on the interior wood trims... there's clear coat on the wood trims, yes?

Yes, the wood has what you could call a clear coat. It isn't exactly the same as the clear coat on your paint, but the idea is the same.

Another layer of protection won't hurt anything.

Right, Jimbo. I used RejeX. Now all I do is buff with a dry towel. Quick and easy.

JDN,

Does the Rejex eliminate most if not all the minor scratches on the wood? I just noticed more usage marks around the I-Drive knob that I'm hoping will come off with a good wax job.

Guess I've been lucky, so far, don't have the scratches yet -- had them on the 540-6 and buffed to minimize, but never really cured them. I don't believe RejeX would remove the scratches, though. It should help minimize the occurrence, maybe.

JDN

HOw do you apply the RejeX? Can you use an orbital thingie or it has to be hand applied with a pad? The E60 surface is huge when you need to do it by hand.

I went on the RejeX site and looked the Porche pix and they are incredible. Do you get the same kind of shine on the outside? (I assume you also use it on the outside).

thx

I applied by hand and it really didn't take that long. I was quite suprised.

The shine is incredible. Even after a week of rain and dirt it still shines at night. Unbelievable. You will be happy

Ok I'll give that a try...I think they offer a starter kit with the applicators.
