I just picked up my new car and am waiting for some meguiar products for xmas(had to put something on the wishlist). In the meantime, I hosed off some bugs from the car trip home and now I have water spots. What do I need to buy to get myself through the next 10 days of driving...I'm going out of town for a week and will probably have the NXT combo package when I return. I don't mind buying stuff now even if it is a duplicate if I will eventually use it all up.

10 days? hmmm, u good quick detailer (mothers showtime is a good OTC product), and good quality microfiber towels...and dont forget the wheels cleaner for all the brake dust (eagle one makes a good cleaner).

If you search this section of the forum you wiII find some very detailed information.

Also take a look at the article posted by Stream a few threads down.

I also posted about Meg's paint cleaner, which worked really well at removing rain induced water spots.

Once you have read all this & still have questions, feel free to ask

Congrats & good luck.
