2 questions: Are you in SoCal? and Are you a BWMCCA member?
The LA chapter of the BMWCCA is having a detailing clinic at Meguair's Corporate HQ in Irvine on June 26th, I'm signed up - but I don't think anyone I know will be there.

Yes, I'm in LA, but not a member of BWMCCA

My car is so dirty, but I'm sick of taking it to the shop for 100 bucks detailing. I know I can probably buy all the necessities for that price!

not true...the quality product is a bit expensive and the PC is around 150. Look for the complete kit which has everything, I think it runs around $ 200 but yes you're almost correct, there is no need to bring it to the shop when you can do it at home.

+1 and join the BMWCCA - it's lik $60 a yr for premier membership which includes raodside assistance for you and 3 other cars in your house. Then sign up for the detailing clinic, then go get the kit and never pay anyone else to do it again
