Post

Hello All,

Newbie here! LOL

Where do I start? I bought my 535d 2 weeks ago. The car had been a company vehicle for the first 22 months of its life and had clearly not been pampered. The paintwork was like sandpaper and the wheels were black.

I've spent about 4 whole days getting the car to the condition you see in the pics. The odd thing is that the interior is almost like new. Slightly bizarre given the prior state of the exterior.

Anyway, I've cleaned and clay'd and waxed the paint and taken the wheels off to paint the calipers and clean the insides of the alloys. Essentially, without a professional detail with porter cable etc, it's about as close as I can get it to as new.

All the best
Matt
