Hi guys,
I was wondering do you wash your microfiber mitts after each car wash or use it for several times first?
Thank you.![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)

I don't "machine-wash" my wash mitt after every car wash, but i do rinse it out very well after every use and visually inspect it for anything that might marr my paint. If i drop the wash mitt on the ground its automatically dead - i do not use it again until its been washed. Any of my microfiber drying and detail towels only get one use and then they are washed.
This might be overkill to some, but it definitely helps keep down the micro marring that can occur from washing. Hope this helps.

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

Pretty much the same here. Though, I have actually stopped using my MF mitt and switched to a Lake Country grout sponge and have been loving it ever since!

I am using exactly the same method.
There are a lot of us who would like to know more about Eric. Has he considered writing an autobiography?

I heard that Flat Eric doesn't use a mit but rather uses himself. Is that true? If so, does he throw himself into the washing machine after every wash?

That is true. It is actually a pretty sick looking sight and I rather leave him alone doing it when he wants to participate the car washing.
