Hey guys,

I just had my M166 wheels refinished today and they came out perfectly! One wheel had slight curb rash and the one rear wheel had a deeper curb rash, both also had a slight scratch along the entire face from rubbing along the track at the car wash.

Before

Light scratch around the entire wheel, top of the spokes

After, like new!

Very happy with the results and they look seriously new. If anyone in Socal needs these services, I would highly suggest the guy I used. I can't remember the name of his company, but he does a mobile service and I believe he is talked about on the bimmer forums too. He lives in Torrance and services all over LA I believe.

Son Tran
(714)742-6855

He said his price varies depending on the severity of the repair, but he is really nice and really fair. Tell him Lawrence referred you!

I actually thought of using him because maybe 4-5 years ago I bought a car off of him, he was my friend's friend. So when I was in the market to have this done, I gave him a call and refreshed his memory of who I was and so he probably gave me a little discount So I don't want to say and have people calling him expecting that price because I'm not sure exactly if he cut me a break, big or small. But he said that prices for mobile service are usually anywhere from $80-$200 a wheel depending on what needs to be done. I think if you are fair with him, he will be fair with you, he really is a nice guy.

I knew he did good work because he was doing the same thing back when I bought my old car off of him and he was doing work for the dealerships around here, like Porsche in Torrance, BMW in LA, and other ones. I remember I've even seen his name come up on the ferrari forums since then. Also, the wheels don't have to be off the car. I think, if anything, normally the wheels are on the car and he just comes, tapes them off and does his magic. I just happen to have these wheels unmounted yet.
