This runs $695 installed here in CA. It is similiar to the 3m product - as it is applied to the front end to protect against rock chips, etc. Has anybody ever tried it?

Thought they only do for windscreen and glass not for the body panels?

No, they do paint protection film...the same product as 3m - but they claim to be better (of course).
