I just cleaned and conditioned the leather seats in my new 545, using AutoGlym products. Now the car has this strange and not very pleasant odor to it--hard to describe, maybe musky and a little fishy.

I had noticed the same odor before in someone else's 530. Could it be from wetting the leather while cleaning it? I dried it well before applying the AutoGlym leather conditioner.

Has anyone else had this happen? Does the odor go away, and how long does it take to dissipate?

Thanks

Pieter

I have found the best leather conditioner is made by pinnacle (much better then lexol) its at www.topoftheline.com it smells very much like leather and it will keep your leather smelling and looking its best. they also make a great cleaner that has a nice light lemon scent to it that works real well with a leather brush
