Whats up fellas, I was thinking , while i was detailing my 5, the UPS guy came to my house to deliver some stuff. He said " you really take care of your cars dont you? Every weekend you are out here" I said yea, i love driving them, but I really love driving them clean. Once they are clean it sets mine apart for all other cars once they are detailed up and ready to ride. So he got me thinking, if I didnt have a Bmw or a Yukon and had some thing less nicer would I still take as much time to keep it looking good and go through all that we do to make it look there best? So my question is if you guys didnt have E60's would you still go all out to make what ever you drove look as good as your E60. This question is especially for C's Bimmer .

I kept the Honda I had before my E60 just as clean, but I take extra care now since it's a BMW after all.

I think it's a personality trait rather than the fact that you have a nice car. My neighbor has a Jeep Grand Cherokee and some sort of Chrysler. They're both a few years old and he washes them both literally two or three times a week that I notice, possibly even more. I tend to wash my car every couple of weeks during the summer and maybe 4 or 5 times during the winter. I have never washed my own car, I have a friend at a car wash who details my cars and he does a hand wash when I just need a quickie. I just don't have the patience nor the time to do it myself, not to mention I DESPISE CLEANING OF ANY KIND!!

LOL! I used to keep my SUV sparkling clean, but not anymore. But yes, I used to keep my 2003 E39 530 sparkling clean. My wife and I had a Jetta and Passat back in the 90's and we kept those sparkling clean too, but I never detailed them like I do with the E60.
